When WSVN Miami News needed to prevent flood waters from interrupting their main broadcast facility they called Savannah Trims Inc the leader in flood protection to design, furnish and install flood doors and removable flood barriers to protect up to 5 feet (60") of flood waters.
The removable flood barriers used on this project were installed at the overhead doors and made out of lightweight marine grade aluminum for easy storage. The robust flood doors were designed and engineered out of steel to withstand the given pressures and were installed on all personal entrances.
